LIVE SITES – RENAL UNITS – NOVEMBER 2021

During the last couple of months, we have been working in conjunction with the UK Kidney Association to start rolling out Patients Know Best (PKB) to renal units across the country, supporting nearly 75,000 renal patients with a more secure platform combined with improved functionality. You can read more about their decision to transition to PKB here. Our team are working closely with the renal teams across the country, who are supporting this extensive roll out, and we want to thank them all for their support with the switchover from PatientView to PKB.

When we go live with each unit it means that their renal patients will be able to access all their historic renal data and start receiving new data in their PKB record.

Using PKB, offers patients and their professional teams advanced features and functionality, including increased security from the old platform, care planning, team-based messaging and an ecosystem of integrated wearable and monitoring devices to support clinical transformation and service delivery.

You can find more details, including an explainer document showing the differences users will see from the old system to PKB, on our Manual Page here.
