PKB is excited to welcome Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board (ABMU) and their Dermatology department at Singleton Hospital, Swansea to the PKB community. We are delighted to be working with the patient members at Skin Care Cymru – who have supported the scheme – and to announce our first dermatology deployment and our first site in Wales.
As a result, patients can now work with the dermatology team to access care plans, contact their clinicians and monitor their symptoms easily using PKB. They can also easily access their medical record in Welsh by going to the language bar at the bottom of any PKB page.
We have also made images easier to see in the ‘discussions’ page. Instead of having to download an image attachment, you can click on it to display the image in a new browser.
Below is an example of a patient asking his clinician about a skin lesion that he sent across in his ‘discussions’. By clicking on the image, a new browser window will pop up with the image.
